FAQs
What vaccines does DLE require?
To keep ourselves, our family pets and all of your dogs safe and healthy, we require the following vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper (DAPP), Lepto, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza.
What other medical requirements does DLE have?
To do our best to keep our pets and your pets free of intestinal parasites we require: a negative fecal test done within 6 months of your pets stay.
To protect our kitty friend in the house and the many dogs coming in and out every single day we do require your pet to be up to date at the time of stay on a reliable flea/tick prevention; ex. nexgard, simparica, bravecto, seresto.
Is someone able to give medication to my dog when in your care?
Yes! With Chloe being an RVT, we are more than happy to administer medications, or address any medical needs while your pet is in our care!
Can we skip training and do day camp and boarding with DLE?
No, in order to qualify for day camp or boarding your pet needs to have graduated a DLE training program. We do this to ensure a couple of things that are very important to us: safety, time for individualized care, consistency, structure and arguable the most important, comfortability.
Where will my dog stay when boarding at DLE?
We pride ourselves in offering in-home boarding. By boarding your pet in our own home, we hope offer the same feeling of “staying at grandma’s”. Where your pet will feel safe, comfortable, and have so much fun that they will be excited to come back every single time!
